WE'RE A CHURCH THAT LOVES GOD
At Movement Church, we believe transformation begins with love—God's love. It's the reason we exist and the heartbeat of all we do. We are a church rooted in the truth that when we encounter Jesus, our minds are mind new, our hearts are made whole, and God's love moves us forward to action. The renewal doesn't stop with us! It shapes how we live, how we serve, and how we welcome others into the story God is writing here.

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE.
At Movement Church, we create welcoming spaces where people are invited to turn from a 'me-first' mindset and discover healing, wholeness, and purpose in Christ. Through this, we begin to practice love in action—tangibly serving our families, our neighbors, bringing hope to the hurting, and partnering in God's work of restoration.
CORE VALUES
These three values shape the core of our culture from inside out. They guide how we relate to one another, form new members, disciple people of all ages, and build our staff and leadership. Together, they create a shared way of living out our faith.

OUR HISTORY
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
2016-2018
In 2016, Pastor Marc Hannah and his wife, Shannon, felt led to plant a church in Fruitland, MD. What started as a small gathering grew into R Church, founded in 2018.
ONE BODY.
MANY PARTS.
2022-2025
In 2022, New Creation Ministries was born out of the merger of two churches, R Church and Impact Church, and served as a testimony to God's ability to bring His people together and create something new.
RENEWED VISION
TODAY
In February 2026, New Creation Ministries became Movement Church—a name reflecting who we are today, anchoring us in the mission and identity we intend to carry into the future. Committed to living changed through the love of Jesus Christ, dedicated to doing our part in discipling others.

Each person, whether on our pastoral staff, in support roles, or volunteer, plays a unique and vital part in serving others and advancing God’s kingdom. Together, we are united in purpose, bringing our diverse gifts, talents, and hearts to serve God and one another.
